A University of California professor recently revealed a new mobile phone which allows you to scan and send x-rays, sonograms and medical images and e-mail them to your docotor immediately.
I think I speak for hypochondriacs everywhere when I say how excited I am for this new product.
Do you know how often I desperately needed to know whether that bump was anything - at 4:00 AM on a Tuesday? Or whether that red spot was potentially something serious, or that discoloration on my leg…or that cut - is it infected? Are my lungs okay - I just feel like my breathing has been different. It could be my heart, also, so we should check that out.
This will cut back on my emergency room visits (hopefully) and save me tens of thousands, as well as my life.
This phone gets me immediate answers about my bone density fears, my brain scans and whether that is skin cancer or not. Instantly. No more “You’re gonna have to schedule an appointment for some tests Mr. Bock and please stop bothering me on my home line.”
