Esquire writer Lisa Taddeo is getting shit for her latest - a piece called “Jay-Z: It Takes a Harmless, Hand-Built Gangster to Run this Town.”
Her critics are saying her profile isn’t written very well, basically…
But, consider this: Taddeo (pronounced Ta-dow? I don’t know… but it should be!) perhaps was writing in the style that her subject - the master Jay-Z - uses himself: the so-called “Rain Man” technique of not coming in to a recording session with anything written down or any notes on direction at all - just going freestyle and working with whatever comes out naturally when recording starts…
Maybe she just one-taked the shit to really give us the Jay-Z experience!
