the price of anything at every bodega in the city is exactly the same:
Whatever they want to charge you for it at that moment…
So I think I encountered a new strategy today, when I stopped into the new local bodega and the guy gave me my total - which was really, really high - then, after a dramatic pause, he lowered it to just a really high total and acted like he was giving me a great deal with a wink and a nod…
Now that’s a new one!
And I gotta say… I’m impressed!
