These new Fidelity Investments ads feature customers getting a green line to follow (“Turn Here”) for “financial guidance” when they activate their account…and I have to say - there was absolutely no fine print in any of these ads! Nothing that said: “An actual green line will NOT appear on the ground if you activate a Fidelity account.”
Unbefuckinglievable.
They get a green line on the ground in the ad!
Now why don’t I?
Someone call and complain that they’ve just opened an account but they’re not seeing their green line yet and let’s see how fast we can get some (much needed) fine print into their campaign! Be sure to let them know how misleading their ad was after you’re informed there isn’t an actual green line.
